Barefoot Records Jazzfestival 6-8 juli 2023
Barefoot Records inviterer til 9 alsidige koncerter i Husets Biograf under Copenhagen Jazz Festival 2023.
Glæd jer til at blive inspireret, rørt, overrasket og udfordret når musikerkollektivet Barefoot Records for 14. år i træk inviterer til en mini-festival med fokus på improvisation og musikalsk mangfoldighed.
Programmet byder på det bedste fra den vibrerende scene for improviseret musik i Europa, med internationale gæster, albumaktuelle bands, prisbelønnede grupper, nye konstellationer og kompositoriske eksperimenter.
Barefoot Records blev stiftet i 2006 og blev hurtigt døbt “en af de mest interessante labels i dansk jazz” af AllAboutJazz. Kollektivet består af 8 musikere fra Danmark, Polen, Irland, Norge og Sverige, der udover at organisere koncerter, også står for et stadigt voksende katalog på indtil videre 70 pladeudgivelser.
Man kan opleve medlemmerne af Barefoot Records åbne koncertrækken i konstellationen “Barefoot Records Allstars”. Udover at samarbejde internt i kollektivet, vil medlemmerne også invitere til andre samarbejder fra den eksperimentelle scene. Det er med glæde at Barefoot records kan præsentere årets program:

Barefoot Records invites you to 9 versatile concerts in Husets Biograf during the Copenhagen Jazz Festival 2023.
Look forward to being inspired, moved, surprised and challenged when the musician collective Barefoot Records invites you to a mini-festival with a focus on improvisation and musical diversity for the 14th year in a row.
The program features the best of the vibrant improvised music scene in Europe, with international guests, award-winning groups, new constellations and compositional experiments.
Barefoot Records was founded in 2006 and was quickly called “one of the most interesting labels in Danish jazz” by AllAboutJazz. The collective consists of 8 musicians from Denmark, Poland, Ireland, Norway and Sweden who, in addition to organizing concerts, are also responsible for an ever-growing catalog of 70 record releases so far.
You can experience the members of Barefoot Records opening the concert-series in the constellation “Barefoot Records Allstars”. In addition to collaborating internally within the collective, the members will also invite other collaborations from the experimental scene.
