Sven Dam Meinild

The danish Saxophone player and Composer Sven Dam Meinild (b. 1984) is working in a big variety of sounds and genres. From abstract avant-garde explorations to songs about big city tribes. From Jazz to World and Rock the main focus is the improvisational investigations.

In spring 2015, the Copenhagen venue Mayhem featured a series of 6 concerts including 12 different bands all presenting SDMs new graphic scores. The concerts ranging from solo performances to choir and an electric guitar quartet.
