BAREFOOT RECORDS REMOVES CATALOG FROM SPOTIFY
After a long period of frustration, we at Barefoot Records have made the decision to remove all of our releases from Spotify. The streaming platform has moved in a direction where we no longer feel that we as a collective label are in line with their business model. As an underground label and musicians with a focus on improvised and curious music, we believe that there are many other good places to listen to our music. Going forward, our primary distribution channel will be:

Furthermore, we are still available on other streaming platforms.
We sense that there is a great desire among the listening audience to take a stand on how and where to listen to their music, which is why we also encourage our audience to seek out other streaming platforms that prioritize payment to artists.
